Responsible for tax compliance under the direct supervision of General Tax supervisor and Income Tax Supervisor. Responsible for preparing and entering tax disbursements into the ERP System. Contacting internal business partners to request information needed to prepare Tax filings. Accurately maintain Excel spreadsheets used to file tax filings. Proactively work with internal business units to stay abreast of changing ownership structure resulting from acquisitions, mergers and divestitures. Collaborate with 3rd party vendor in order to accurately and timely preparation of tax filings. Assist tax department with gathering information for tax audit requests and for tax notices. Perform account reconciliation of assigned G/L accounts.
Complete the assigned transaction tax filings in accurate and timely manner under the supervision of Tax Acct IV or Tax Supervisor. This needs to be done internally as well as with third party vendor as per the tax filing.
Assist Income Tax Supervisor in order to ensure the timely and accurate completion of work papers as well as tax filings.
Maintain Tax Calendar for assigned entities and ensure timely and accurate filing of assigned returns.
Perform account reconciliation of assigned G/L accounts.
Assist Transaction Tax Supervisor with Tax Audit Information Document Requests.
Prepare and enter tax disbursements into the ERP system for supervisor approval.
Perform monthly content updates for Transaction Tax Engine.
Monitor law and rate changes for assigned jurisdictions.
Knowledge / Skills
Ability to work as part of a high performing team

Willingness to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
Intermediate level knowledge of MS Office is required.
Strong Data analytics or exposure to data tools like Tableau or Altreyx is preferred.
Beginner’s knowledge of GAAP, taxation regulations, regulatory practices, and company policies.
Experience with Microsoft AX Dynamics, Oracles, SAP, or other ERP software preferred.
Prior experience in the utility industry or shared service industry is desired.
Experience / Education
Exposure to corporate environment is required. Prior experience in a multi-subsidiary environment or utility/regulated industry preferred.
Bachelor's Degree in a business related field required.
