Job Summary

URS/AECOM has an opening for a SPOT/LOA Administrator in Kuwait .

Essential Responsibilities:

  • The SPOT/LOA Administrator also serves as the CAC Administrator.

  • Responsible for the SOC operation of the DEERs/RAPIDS CAC system located at the MDIOC facility

  • Primary responsibility will be to produce Common Access (CAC) Identification Cards for MDA Civilians, Military, and DoD Contractors

  • Collect the data needed for both CACs and LOAs.

  • Access the US Army G2 database and enter employee/candidate's data.

  • Once the data is approved / authorized for a CAC, upload the personal info to the Contract Specialist by using AMRDEC SAFE.

  • Receives the username and password from the Contract Specialist once the CAC initiation process is complete.

  • Enter TASS and completes the application and submits to be approved by Contract Specialist.

  • Review and quality check CAC card request documentation for accuracy and completeness.

  • Ensure that CACs are prepared and issued in accordance with Special Security Instructions.

  • Develops, maintains, reviews, and updates detailed procedures for CAC and badge functions

  • Maintain accountability of all CAC materials and equipment

  • Ensure sufficient badge materials are on hand at all times

  • Support to MDIOC Special Events as directed

  • Provide info and reports accurately as required.

  • Creates deployment templates and Letter of Authorization (LOA), if required, for company employee(s)

  • Ensures contractor personnel arrive, in-process through combatant command reception centers (including JAMMS scan, if available), and updates SPOT with In-theater Arrival Date and Duty Station Arrival Date and site location.

  • Reports no-shows or changes to the deployment schedule to the GA and updates the deployment details, to include updating the person status when changes occur (e.g. R&R, missing, captured).

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Three (3) to four (4) years of related experience in a government security environment.

  • Understanding of the principles of physical security or access control.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

  • Intermediate computer skills with the ability to type at least 20 words per minute.

  • Knowledge of the operation of the DEERs and RAPIDS systems.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen and have a current, valid U.S. passport.

  • Must have an active NACI clearance.

  • Must be able to favorably complete customer and company background investigation.
