We are recruiting experienced and talented individuals for a new Business Development team, in A&C dedicated to the SMB Partner Market.
The role will engage with OD Sales programs to define the rights sales initiatives and campaigns for channel. To help Partners to identify the compelling reasons to move their Customers to the Oracle Cloud. The BDR will build confidence that Oracle has the platform of choice for their journey to cloud and show the Partner why they should start this journey with us
The BDR will work closely with A&C teams and ensure timely and aligned execution of the developed campaigns and initiatives to progress and win these SMB cloud Partner opportunities
This role will be part of a small team of BDR’s, located in our OD hubs across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
To Define and follow up A&C business plans for each OD SMB region
Engage with OD Sales Programs team to define the right sales initiatives and campaigns for channel
Work with your assigned sales team to maximize the number of Mid Market segment Partners who start their journey to cloud with Oracle, generating long and short term success and business results for their customers by triggering adoption of Oracle Cloud and contributing to continued growth of cloud bookings - and over achievement on sales targets
Engage effectively with Partners to position the Oracle Cloud proposition through value based selling, business case definition, ROI analysis, references and analyst data.
Collaborates and align effectively with sales leadership to ensure focus on priority Partners and segments
Work effectively with individual sales reps and within the Partner ecosystem to achieve common goals and ensure optimal investment and deployment of resources to initiate high win-rate sales cycles
Work as part of a distributed team to share and learn from each other, contributing to the ongoing development of and contribution from this new role.

A senior sales and business development professional who can demonstrate credibility through their commercial acumen and tenacity
Strong influencing, interpersonal , verbal and written communication skills at CxO level
Creativity with strong problem solving skills, and the ability to adapt and succeed in a fast paced, diverse and changing environment
A strong understanding of cloud and emerging computing technologies and business drivers will be invaluable; combining this with an ability to connect technology to measurable business value will be essential
Successful history as a senior individual contributor or manager in sales /technical sales or business development, with consistent achievement against targets
Proven experience in some or all of the following key areas would be a strong advantage: needs analysis and envisioning; in-depth knowledge of Oracle Partners; A&C business or VAD’s
Fluency in English is essential

Responsible for the identification of relevant new business opportunities and designs "go-to-market" plan to deliver measurable and significant revenues. Pursues sales opportunities in the market, and carries the baton in the beginning of the sales cycle.
A Business Development Representative is assigned to strategic accounts which may be grouped by industry where Oracle has a limited presence. Acts as primary liaison between Consulting, Sales, and Oracle Development for the product
- s sales opportunities. Generates business opportunities through prospecting mass market programs and leveraging third party partners. Develops and coordinates a worldwide relationship with customers that establishes Oracle as a preferred vendor and optimizes Oracle's sales of product. Executes aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection. Provides account representatives with information on how the product addresses specific needs, and assists account representatives in using Oracle's products to leverage large revenue opportunities. Assists in articulating product message, coordinates technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years of progressively increased responsibilities in sales or sales management. Marketing and business development experience preferred. Business and account planning implementation experience. Conversant in Oracle technology and product strategies. Proven track record in managing multiple opportunities and ability to negotiate and close complex deals. Ability to determine strategy and tactical plans that deliver tangible results. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel. BA/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
