Job Description

We are seeking a motivated sales leader

to drive the growth across a sales team focused on the Oracle Autonomous Data

Warehouse change. You will lead a team helping

customers, who have growing data

volumes and aggressive service-level expectations, maximize the potential of

their IT organizations while delivering the real-time enterprise. Join

Responsibilities

  • Theprimary focus is to direct, plan, manage and develop a team of Cloud PrimeSales Representatives.

  • Developand implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunitiesacross a subset of Oracle Tech Cloud services directly or via partners tosmall-and medium sized accounts.

  • Managesa team of Autonomous Cloud Representatives for a territory/region. Participatesas a team member in strategic and tactical planning for the region. Developscollaborative working relationships with license, consulting, customer successteams etc., to develop joint account plans. Develops and executes strategicplans utilizing resources from various marketing and sales functions tomaximize revenue with guidance from the LOB leader or VP

  • Responsiblefor hiring winners, on-boarding, coaching, performance management, careerdevelopment and retaining the team. Ensure teams are successful thru’ coaching,mentoring and sales guidance. Do periodic reviews and effectively manage theunit’s success

  • Handlesescalations and participates directly in complex sales situations to negotiateand/or resolve disputes and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Conductssales forecasts, territory planning, demand generation, strategy developmentand trend analysis.

  • Manageweekly booking, net new customers, sales hygiene, volume deals and growth in aprogrammatic approach

  • Focuson delivering customer experience and creating delight. Has worked withmultiple set of customers - could be a combination of geographic, product, industryand market dimensions.

  • Assistsin the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategicobjectives. Regularly interacts across functional areas with senior managementor executives to ensure the team’s objectives are met.

  • Abilityto lead sales team in all areas of the sales cycle. Effective written andverbal communication skills. Strong quantitative, analytical, and conflictresolution ability.

  • 5years sales management experience and leading teams

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Overall responsibility for the regions sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all products and product lines.

Manages and develops a team of sales representatives including recruiting, hiring, and training new reps on the Oracle sales process. Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale. Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans. Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis. Manages escalation. Conducts weekly progress meetings with sales team.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas or sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Minimum five or more years sales or sales management experience within technology industry. Ability to hire and train new sales representatives. Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues. Demonstrated leadership skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences. Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions. Strong quantitative, analytical and conflict resolution abilities.
