What will you do?
The Product Manager proactively drives the business and manages the product life cycle. Key responsibilities include:
Serve as product champion with internal stakeholders, regional teams.
Manage the product life cycle from inception to obsolescence.
Develop, manage, monitor and execute product line strategies, business plans and product roadmaps.
Champion successful launches through product requirements and development.
Proactively participate in the development of the new products, providing a customer focused perspective to drive R&D, Manufacturing and Marketing teams to bring new product solution to market.
Create and present product trainings for Product specialist teams.
Create relevant marketing and technical content on web, print and collateral.
Develop training, application and educational material for both internal and external customers.
Drive revenue targets and price strategies to expand market share.
Lead pricing /margin optimization, management across the customer value continuum for both new product development and existing products.
Guide fiscal planning for future product positioning, growth, and evolution of the product platform.
Analyze, interpret, and report out regularly to management regarding sales forecasts, and competition.
How will you get there?
· Bachelor‘s degree in life sciences or other relevant field
· BS/BA in Business, Marketing or MBA preferred
3+ years’ experience in product management or product development role in marketing led organizations developing and launching new products.
Experience in similar business role in life science
Project management experience preferred.
Strong technical capabilities consistent with market segment.
Demonstrated experience with working with R&D, quality, manufacturing, supply chain and marketing.
New product development experience
High energy levels, proactivity, enthusiasm and drive for result. Willingness to grow within organization.
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to present to different audiences, including scientists, executives, and non-scientific personnel.
Ability to effectively work in a multinational/multicultural environment.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships cross functionally, gain internal cooperation and/or buying, and influencing others without direct authority
Strong problem solving skills.
Experience with financial modeling and data analysis skills.
Strong communication and relationship building skills
