The Search Marketing Manager will have experience in paid search, with a good understanding of other related digital marketing and web technologies. The individual who best fits this role will be one who is passionate about digital marketing and is determined to continuously improve results as well as our customers’ digital experience. To be successful, the candidate for this role must be comfortable working in a highly matrixed, global organization and collaborating with large teams across the company.
The Search Marketing Manager will be an experienced digital marketer who can partner on market development efforts by learning about bioscience products and customer purchasing behaviors. What You'll Do:
Support the development and delivery of search marketing, guided by reporting and a thorough ROI analysis across the entire sales funnel.
Partner with other digital team members to develop, execute and measure integrated digital marketing campaigns, aligned with business partner goals and KPIs.
Implement, test, and optimize campaigns, utilizing business strategies and technologies, working within the wider corporate marketing organization to adopt and deploy emerging digital marketing tactics and technologies.
Work with divisional business unit partners to review, advise on and implement improvements to search ads, keywords and overall strategy.
Report and present on performance, status and opportunities related to paid ad spend and return.
Test messaging and copy in paid search ad campaigns for continual improvement and optimization to identified KPIs.
Proactively identify content for development, including but not limited to keywords, ad copy, landing page improvements, etc.
Project management of the localization and translation of paid search campaigns for global implementation.
How You'll Get There:
BA/BS or equivalent professional experience required.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in customer-driven digital marketing including PPC, Paid Search, SEM and SEO.
Experience with search management platforms, including Adobe Media Optimizer, Adobe Analytics/Omniture and Conductor.
Advanced understanding of Paid Search using Google AdWords, Bing Ads and other search engines.
A solid understanding of SEO best practices and optimization techniques.
Proven track record of creating, optimizing and reinventing campaigns to constantly improve results.
Strong Excel skills, ability to manage and update campaigns via bulk upload process.
Experience managing multiple strategic clients including ownership and oversight of large budgets.
Excellent communication skills and ability to present to business partners on a regular basis.
Strong time management, organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
Up to 5% travel
Education or work experience in the biosciences field is a plus.
