Carlsbad, CA. On-site location required. Life Sciences Solutions Group. Less than 10% travel.
How will you make an impact?
As Senior Manager, Creative Services Operations, you will be responsible for improving the efficiency of the internal creative group, “The Agency,” and helping to ensure that we bring superior quality, on-time completion, and exceptional value to all of the clients we serve.
What will you do?
Ensure timely completion of each phase of the creative and review processes, including approval of concepts, copy, layouts, final artwork, retouching, proofs and printed samples.
Keep projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, and status reports.
Analyze workload and predict resource needs in terms of project quantity, complexity, and due dates of deliverables.
Collaborate with Agency leadership team to make decisions regarding operational activities, budgets, and strategic goals.
Regularly evaluate the efficiency of processes within The Agency and apply improvements as needed.
Establish clear goals, delegate tasks, and set deadlines for your team.
Cultivate, manage, and develop team members, whose functions include scheduling, project management, invoicing, analytics, and print production.
Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors.
How will you get here?
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
7+years experience in an operations function at either an internal or external full-service agency.
5+ years demonstrated success in team leadership, coaching and development.
3+ years experience managing financial data, assessing operational efficiency, and providing profitability analyses.
3+ years managing capacity planning and resource allocation at an internal or external agency.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Diligent and detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, project/time management and problem-solving skills.
Deep understanding of project management, creative development, and business workflows, as well as technology and infrastructure.
Excels at managing and prioritizing high volumes of work.
Strong team player that loves to collaborate, is proactive, and consistently exhibits a positive attitude.
Ability to confidently communicate with and influence stakeholders using a solutions-oriented and results-focused approach.
Experience with Workfront project management system or other comprehensive project management software.
