Nuclear Waste Partnership, an LLC of AECOM, is seeking a
Repository Projects Manager to be based in our Carlsbad, New Mexico location.
The successful candidate will manage the Repository Projects organization by directing the safe, compliant, and timely mining and ground control activities for the WIPP underground. Will ultimately be responsible for the safety of the organization’s personnel and work area conditions. Successful candidate must be able to coordinate multiple activities and support long term planning with Engineering and Operations. Candidate must be able and willing to wear a respirator and work in radiologically contaminated areas.
Bachelor’s degree with twelve (12) years of related experience, or
Associates degree with sixteen (16) years of related experience, or
High School Diploma or GED with twenty (20) years of related experience is required.
Five (5) years of related mining experience and three (3) years of management experience are required.
Due to the nature of work, candidates must be US Citizens.
Operations Management with a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
Budget oversight experience for operating expenses and capital expenditures would be a plus.
