Hilton Sales Representative Partnership - Associations in Carrollton, Texas

As the Sales Representative – Partnership, you will be responsible for working as a team with Hilton Sales, generating business opportunities with designated peak room nights, for Key Accounts within the Association and/or Corporate segment as defined by the Assistant Director of Sales – Partnership for the Association and Corporate segments.

What will I be doing?

As a Team Member in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with the Hilton Director to act as liaison between the Group Customer and Hilton Hotels as it relates to sending and responding to leads, follow up activity and finalizing bookings
  • Coordinating, supporting and responding to Group Customer inquiries via Global SFA, email or telephone in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Offering consultative hotel solutions for leads and events to Group Customers
  • Ensuring all daily operational functions of the lead and booking processes are completed smoothly and efficiently
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Internal and External Customers through ongoing telephone and written communication
  • Working in accordance with National Group Account Owner and related NSO team on customer events and/or special projects
  • Generating lead opportunities to all Hilton Hotels
  • Achieving individual booked revenue quotas for all Hilton Hotels
  • Achieving lead volume, conversion percentage and solicitation call quotas
  • Maintaining set standards for Group Customer response and lead quality
  • Maintaining high levels of customer service while adhering to Hilton policy and procedures as well as following established Best Practices
  • Participating in hotel presentations and training programs to maintain updated product knowledge and sales skills
  • Completing special projects as required or assigned
  • Using sales systems and applications to enter data and/or process information regarding leads and hotel bookings
  • Updating and maintaining sales information records, including account reports, events, history reports, traces and general account information
  • Documenting sales activities through lead and call reports
  • Submitting daily, weekly and monthly activity reports relating to leads generated, priority active leads (hit lists) booked revenue, client contact and account activity
  • Supporting the department on various projects and targeted initiatives as assigned by ADOS, DOS and MDOS

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
  • Minimum Years of Experience: One (1) to Two (2) years of professional experience
  • Additional Requirements (i.e. % of travel time, etc.):

  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of Hospitality and/or Group Travel Industry

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Previous goal accountability -<10% of travel

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Education: BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum Years of Experience: Two (2) to Three (3) years of professional experience
  • Minimum Years of Experience: Two (2) years of Hotel Sales or Hospitality Sales experience
  • In depth knowledge and use in Delphi or similar property sales management system
  • Experience using Salesforce
  • Knowledge of lead management systems including Meeting Broker, Cvent, Starcite and/or Lanyon
  • Experience in negotiation skills in order to maximize value for internal and external stakeholders
