Summary:

Oracle is seeking a high-energy and dynamic senior marketer to join the JAPAC marketing organisation, reporting to the Head of SaaS Marketing, JAPAC. This marketer will be a trusted advisor to the business and be responsible developing marketing and lead generation programs for the SaaS portfolio including ERPM, CX, HCM solutions. He/She will be responsible for significantly increasing cloud brand awareness within the territory, further solidifying our position as a SaaS leader and rapidly accelerating demand for SaaS growth and penetration in Hong Kong. The position will be based in Hong Kong.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the marketing strategy for the country and segments of the business

  • Effectively plan and accurately manage the marketing budget with a focus on delivering clear and measurable ROI

  • Design and implement high impact, tightly integrated, cost effective lead and demand generation initiatives to accelerate pipeline growth across all segments.

  • Communicate plans to sales and business development stakeholders and actively participate in the business planning and demand management process locally.

  • Deliver high impact marketing activity, including digital deployments and events, collaborating with JAPAC marketing teams and sales stakeholders to align campaign strategy, messaging, tactics and executions.

  • Identify and establish key relationships with strategic industry players, professional associations and co-marketing partners to open doors to C-level buying centers.

  • Represent Oracle ERP/HCM/CX at customer and field marketing events as well as industry tradeshows. Partner with Communications teams on AR and PR programs and deliver required content and messaging.

  • Collaborate with broader marketing community to develop and share best practices. Actively voice local marketing needs and requirements to create economies of scale in planning and execution. Ensure that marketing campaign tactics are appropriate and aligned with campaign effectiveness guiding principles and rules of engagement, and segment prioritization.

  • Actively explore and test innovative new tactics as appropriate and deploy the full marketing communications mix to SaaS decision makers.

Required skills, competencies and experiences:

  • Affinity for technology trends and understanding of the value of business solutions within the ERP, HCM, and CX cloud software industry, solid knowledge or competitive landscape

  • Ability and desire to work at both strategic and tactical levels in all areas of marketing

  • Reputation for producing real, measurable results and consistently exceeding business goals

  • Ability to manage and collaborate with multiple key stakeholders, superior intercultural sensitivity and communications skills

  • Excellent communication (written/verbal) and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to create uniquely crisp, compelling messaging for a range of communication vehicles (e.g. lead generation, advertising, PR, thought leadership etc.)

  • Min. 10 years’ experience and proven success in marketing roles with demonstrated ability to develop and execute highly effective programs within the technology/software sector

Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Economics, specialization in Marketing preferred

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Plans, executes, and measures demand generation marketing programs to grow sales pipeline and revenue for Field Sales organization.

Meets with Sales leaders to create strategic marketing plan in support of Sales pipeline and revenue objectives. Participant in regular pipeline and forecast review meetings. Develops and implements tactical marketing programs in conjunction with Sales, Channels, Product Marketing, Product Management, Oracle Direct (Telesales), and external influencers such as user groups and industry trade associations. Provides onsite execution support for marketing programs. Tracks lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner. Creates and manages program budget, measures ROI through metrics analysis and reporting.

Proven track record executing multi-faceted event programs. Excellent interpersonal skills. Able to engage customers in dialogue about their business needs and IT solutions. Excellent written and verbal skills, and ability to work on far-flung virtual teams. Understands principles of Sales business/revenue/pipeline management. Moderate technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed. Attention to detail and discipline to follow established policies and processes from event design to execution to lead flow.
