Oracle EBS Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking an individual with hands on Techno-Functional experience in Oracle R12 Order to Cash and Procure to Pay business processes

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design, develop and manage the implementation of technology solutions that meet the needs of internal and external customers

  • Manage implementation and support of Oracle E-Business suite modules to improve business processes

  • Integrate and support additional Oracle EBS modules or functionality as needed

  • Implement and support non-Oracle solutions (both on-premise and cloud) and their integration with Oracle EBS. Independently manage IT related projects.

  • Analyze solution design and create Functional/technical specifications based on business/functional requirements.

  • Development activities including analysis, design, coding, data migration and testing for production and development environments.

  • Customize and develop Interfaces, Reports and Extensions as needed to support business requirements.

  • Design and Development of applications for Oracle EBS R12 RICEW(Reports, Integrations, Customization, Extensions and Workflow) components.

  • Participate in system-level tests responsible for comparing actual results with expected results.

  • Maintenance and Provide support for the existing systems as needed.

  • Responsible for delivering quality technical specification documentation for internal and/or external programmers who can develop new or enhanced solutions and reports based on these requirements.

  • Responsible for proper testing of new or enhanced software solutions and reports, in preparation of delivery to the Business stakeholders for user acceptance testing.

  • Driving projects of the supported services to successful completion and implementation. Works with business to assist in new projects and implementations. Executing actions so that the supported services meet the required service levels to support business strategy.

  • Provide expertise to review existing processes and recommend improvements based upon "best practices" and R12 functionality

  • Work with SMEs to define and document project scope and specifications.

  • Design and implement solutions to meet project requirements, work with off-shore technical resources as required.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in large Oracle E-Business initiatives.

  • Must possess strong skills in Oracle R12 development (RICEW components) and customization utilizing Oracle best practice methodology.

  • Demonstrated success in analyses and documenting business requirements with Oracle E-Business applications, with emphasis in the full cycle of requirement documentation, testing and deployment.

  • Requires in-depth knowledge and experience of Order to Cash and/or Procure Pay modules in Oracle R12

  • Advanced knowledge and Demonstrated experience in the implementation and support of Oracle R12 applications including Oracle Applications Framework (OAF), SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle workflow, XML Publisher, Forms & Reports

  • Demonstrated proficiency in SQL performance tuning.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment coordinating with internal customers to help support and enhance business systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment including the ability to work collaboratively with business users.

  • 6-8 years of total experience, at least 5 years as an Oracle Applications Developer in using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, Forms, Reports, XML, OAF and ADF

  • 4-5 years of experience working with Oracle Financials functional analyst.

  • 4 year degree in Information Systems, Engineering or related field.

  • Experience working with Global Oracle EBS R12 implementation project is a plus

  • Experience in ERP Cloud based integrations is a plus

  • Experience working with Java, J2EE application development will be a plus

  • Proven experience on working and developing Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) applications is a plus.

  • Oracle certifications will be a plus.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of experience working in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 environment.

  • Experience with end to end business process of Order to Cash and Procure to Pay cycles in Oracle R12 Application.

  • Experience working with Global Oracle EBS R12 implementation project is a plus.

  • Oracle certifications will be a plus.
