Responsibilities:

The Provider Network Account Executive is responsible for building, nurturing and maintaining positive working relationships

between Plan and its contracted providers. The Provider Network Account Executive conducts orientation sessions, makes education visits, functions as a pro-active practice account leader and coordinates resolution of provider issues. Demonstrates a working knowledge and ability to explain Plan regulations, policies and procedures to providers. This requires the Account Executive to stay current with all updates and revisions.

The incumbent will adhere to all policies and procedures including but not limited to: Employee Handbook, Corporate Code of Conduct, Confidentiality and the Corporate Compliance Program, which includes Fraud, Waste and Abuse.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum three years of managed care/health insurance experience.
  • Preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Previous experience working with healthcare providers. Previous provider relations experience preferred and experience supporting a provider’s operations management structure.
  • One-two years Medicaid/Medicare experience preferred. Minimum one year experience in a provider service position.
