Our Wells Fargo Auto team supports one of the nation's leading auto lenders. The team offers integrated financial services solutions designed primarily for the auto dealer community, providing financing and related services to both dealers and consumers nationwide.

The Role

This newly created senior leader position will responsible for all aspects of managing the Wells Fargo Auto’s new Direct to Consumer digital platform & acquisition channel, including but not limited to product and benefit features, online functionality, channel performance including P&L, dealer and customer satisfaction, and dealer oversite and management.

The Digital Channel Leader will:

  • Own and manage the digital asset and capability for WF Auto’s Direct to Consumer channel

  • Design and monitor performance metrics to track and improve effectiveness of the site (revenue, traffic, click throughs, conversion, search optimization, etc.)

  • Partner with Analytics and Customer Insights teams to segment customers to optimize revenue generation, conversion, and targeting marketing strategies

  • Partner with Credit Risk, Pricing, Underwriting, Sales, and Analytics to understand, monitor and improve loan (pre)approvals, capture rates, dealer bookings,dealer flipping, etc.

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Digital teams to ensure continued alignment with corporate digital strategy and assets

  • Collaborate with customer service team to design a servicing model to support customers using the site, and the unique needs of customers who obtain their loan through a digital channel

  • Partner with Innovation to monitor industry trends to improve site capabilities and processes to remain competitive, relevant and differentiated in the marketplace

  • Seek and respond to user feedback from both consumers and dealers regarding the capability and user interface

  • Manage relationships with any third parties that may be leveraged to deliver site capabilities

  • Ensure digital capabilities meet all information security, regulatory, and compliance requirements

The successful candidate will need to have a strong understanding of digital product/channel management, develop a detailed knowledge and stay abreast of all major business initiatives, and be able to expertly communicate across the business and enterprise at all levels. In addition, must be able to provide oversight and guidance to his/her senior management partners to ensure business alignment the channel strategy

Accordingly, critical success factors will include the ability to manage effectively in a matrixed organization, develop partnerships with many business and operational/functional areas, and identify trends which may present opportunities or reflect gaps in the initiative’s strategic execution/direction.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will work closely across Wells Fargo Auto and the Enterprise in the design, strategy, and execution of this channel. Leadership, communication skills, partnering and credibility will be determining factors in the selection. This person will have exceptionally strong thought leadership and analytic skills, with a proven ability to engage and influence leadership across multiple functions. A key differentiator will be the ability to collaborate, understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment. The role requires a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services

  • 5+ years of leadership experience

  • 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital strategy management, product management, or program management
