CACI International Cognos Reports Analyst/Developer in Chantilly, Virginia

Job Description

CACI is looking for a mid-level Cognos Reports Analyst/Developer. The candidate will implement reports for the financial management application for an Intelligence Community (IC) agency. The candidate must have experience collecting and documenting reporting requirements, and experience developing new or modifying existing Cognos reports to meet these requirements. Experience with Cognos Framework Manager and Cognos Query Studio is desired.


  • Support the functional and technical activities for the client’s financial management system reporting tool.

  • Contribute to the development and documentation:

  • Collecting and documenting reporting requirements from customer work sessions.

  • Mapping reports business needs and processes to custom Cognos Reports.

  • Identification of custom or ad hoc reports to include detailed requirements.

  • Financial Audit Reporting Requirements.

  • Developing reports and implementing designs to meet business requirements

  • Provide subject matter expertise in support of reports technical activities.

  • Support the development and execution of the project plan and schedule.

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizen with a current Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance. Must be able to obtain Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph.

  • Bachelor's degree in technical field or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years experience with IT systems functional analysis, requirements design, test development, and test execution.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with software development lifecycle.

  • Design and development experience with Cognos reports

  • Experience with a requirements collection methodology

  • Familiarity with Cognos Framework Manager

  • Ability to write and execute SQL queries.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with CGI Momentum software

  • Self starter with initiative and aptitude to quickly learn and put new skills to use.

  • Strong written and oral communications skills.

  • Experience with Financial Management Systems or Business Applications.

  • Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems.

  • Ability and initiative to set goals and execute
