Job Description

The Director of Talent Acquisition will be responsible for the execution and delivery of recruiting services for the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) Business Group. The EIT Business Group designs, implements, sustains, and manages enterprise IT solutions improving security in operational IT environments in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, and civilian communities. The Director of TA will partner with the Business Group and his/ her counterparts across the enterprise to build and maintain a team of talented recruiting talent, develop staffing plans and ultimately support customers’ missions. This position reports to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition and is located in Chantilly, VA.

What you'll get to do:

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of recruitment professionals, including managing team capacity and requisition workloads to ensure all hiring goals are achieved

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to direct reports and ensure a highly capable team through the attraction, training and development of the necessary skilled professionals to meet business needs

  • Develop business specific talent acquisition strategies that are both aligned to specific contracts and programs, but allow for expansion across the entire organization

  • Build partnerships with senior leadership to develop holistic staffing solutions

  • Provide thought leadership and strategically identify sources of top talent for hard to fill positions and to meet the short and long-term talent needs of the organization

  • Oversee and advise on various recruitment related programs including contingent worker process, immigration, relocation, expatriate assignments, pre-employment screening and annual background screening process

  • Partner with TA Operations and Recruitment Marketing to develop and execute campaigns as a part of the attraction solution

  • Participate in company training initiatives that support interviewing and hiring best practices, including behavioral interview training

  • Expand on current reporting and metrics to provide data used for hiring decisions and managing team performance

  • Use data to develop and analyze key metrics to understand and improve recruiting effectiveness

You'll bring these qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and of 12 years of related experience in Recruiting and/or Human Resources to include 5+ years of in a leadership/supervisory role

  • Experience supporting federal government contracts, in-depth knowledge and experience supporting various contract types to include, Firm Fixed Price, Time & Materials, Cost Plus) as well as non-IDIQ and IDIQ single or multiple award contracts.

  • Experience recruiting and/or managing recruiters that support hiring in the fully cleared markets is required, requires extensive knowledge of the DoD and Intel markets.

  • Experience reviewing and analyzing recruiting metrics to assess effectiveness of recruiting efforts and assist in managing recruiters.

  • Prior experience presenting to Senior Leadership; strong executive presence and business acumen.
