TheHuman Resources Specialistis responsible for the day-to-day Human Resources clerical and administrative support activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position)
Process new hire paperwork for submission to the Corporate office for final processing and participate in other employment activities including remote site transition of new staff onto new or existing contracts
Process employee status changes
Create and maintain personnel files
Assist with recruitment efforts as needed
Plan and conduct New Hire Orientation
Respond to inquiries from employees and/or operations regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
Compile and maintain required reporting
Maintain records of benefit plan participation such as benefits and 401k, personnel transaction including new hires, promotions, transfers and termination
Maintain employee statistics for government and corporate reporting
Assist with maintenance of the performance review program
Participate in developing departmental goals and objectives
Provide suggestions for improvement of HR policies, procedures, and/or activities
Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Travel less than 10%

Minimum Qualifications:(To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
High School Diploma or GED; BS/BA degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
At least Five (5) years’ experience in Human Resources
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, Taleo preferred
HRCI/SHRM Certification preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to provide excellent support to internal and external customers
