Join the team as a junior Application Programmer that implements Oracle Contract Lifecycle Management for Public Sector (CLM), a web-based ERP contract management solution, for agencies across the Government.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Performing software system development tasks to include:

  • Analyze and study complex system requirements

  • Design software tools and subsystems to maximize COTS software capabilities

  • Manage software development tasks and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, program documented design techniques, and utilize modeling tools

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document requirements in alignment with approved specifications and model

  • Help formulate/define system scope and objectives based on user needs

  • Prepare detailed specifications for assigned integrations

  • Performing data integration activities with user community representatives to define and document current and future data needs and determine appropriate configurations/data interactions

  • Analyzing business and user needs to produce high quality requirements documents and system design documents that convey an understanding of the client's business needs

  • Performing application configuration activities to tailor the behavior of the COTS applications to the client's unique data needs

  • Tracking and documenting changes to technical and business specifications

  • Working closely with Analysts to crosswalk the functional requirements to technical specifications and designs

  • Supporting test team in their creation of comprehensive test plans and test scripts for system enhancements and regression testing

  • Supporting training team in their creation of end user training

You’ll Bring these Qualifications:

  • Must be a highly-motivated self-starter

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, both oral and written

  • Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems

  • Ability to quickly process and internalize copious amounts of information

  • Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline

  • 6-9 years designing and implementing systems experience, specifically system to system integrations/interfaces

  • 6-9 years implementing requirements using Java and/or PL/SQL

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Hands-on experience with Extract, Transform, Load tools, specifically Ab Initio

  • Hands on experience with Business Process Management (BPM) tools and/or Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Integration, specifically Oracle SOA Suite

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS CLM, Purchasing, Sourcing, Procurement Contracts, iProcurement, and/or iSupplier portal or with other Oracle applications such as; OBIEE, Web Center Content, or BPM

  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition and Procurement regulations, requirements, and processes including understanding FAR/DFARS compliant processes
