What You’ll Get to Do:
CACI is looking for an Physical Security Officer to join our team of passionate security professionals in our Chantilly, Virginia office. You will be a key contributor to the physical security team with key responsibilities for assisting in the daily management of the company’s installation and administration of large scale security technology systems. Additionally, you will provide support related to risk and vulnerability assessments and site surveys; oversight of contracted guard service operations, general investigations, and compliance with government and company physical security policies, and standards. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment with a bias for action. You should be able to build high-trust partnerships with management and other security team members, while being energetic, detail oriented, analytical, and self-starting.
More About the Role:
You will report to the Director, Physical Security and will:
Follow the NISPOM, ICD’s, and other government regulations, to address requirements related to DOD, Intelligence Community and other industrial security programs, ensuring compliance with government and company physical security requirements and procedures. Primary duties include assisting in the development and implementation of the Corporate Security physical security program in coordination with security management, providing support in the preparation of security system equipment designs, facility inspections, evaluation of the effectiveness of existing security practices, procedures, and makes determination or recommendation concerning entry control, intrusion detection and video (CCTV) systems.
Participates in the administration of Corporate Security’s enterprise security technology systems.
Provides supports in the preparation of security system equipment designs, facility inspects facilities, evaluation of the effectiveness of existing security practices, recommends control requirements, procedures, and makes determination or recommendation concerning entry control, intrusion detection and video (CCV) systems. Participates in the evaluation of security system requirements and makes installation recommendations related to facility/program requirements and supports the preparation of contract specifications, establish performance standards, and administer contract technical requirements for equipment and services
You’ll Bring these Qualifications:
Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) and minimum 3 years of related work experience.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, with staff and outside personnel.
Self-starter able to take initiative within a fast paced, agile environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities.
Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and multi-task on a variety of initiatives.
Must be self-motivated and results oriented.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
General knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program and ICD 705 construction requirements preferred. Possess knowledge and skills in general facility construction concepts and managing security technology systems (Access management, CCV, and IDS) projects
