- The Project Controls & Compliance Analyst II is responsible for setting up projects in the accounting system and providing procedures and recommendations to Corporate departments, Strategic Business Units (SBU) and Subsidiaries to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Read and understand proposals, subcontracts, government and commercial contract documents
Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Costpoint, accounting system according to contract specifications and reporting requirements (project setup encompasses, but is not limited to, revenue & billing formulas, indirect ceilings, fixed fee rates workforces, etc.)
Provide weekly project updates to BS Director
Review and process contract modifications into accounting system
Prepare and distribute contract briefs
Create and maintain modification logs
Support projects through close out of contracts
Disseminate project related information to Corporate departments, SBUs and subsidiaries
Coordinate with Central Treasury, Accounting, Human Resources, Strategic Business Units, and Subsidiaries on project setup
Assist, as needed, in maintenance of D&B, SAM.gov registrations and other government website databases
Support and troubleshoot for Project Assistants, accounting staff, SBUs and subsidiaries as related to project setup and contract compliance
Support Non-Profit’s project and accounting needs
No Supervisory Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Government Contracts, or another related field
2 to 4 years accounting and/or contracts experience
Combination of education and equivalent experience may be substituted
Previous experience with Deltek/Costpoint preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of proposals and its correlation to contract and subcontract awards
Knowledge and understanding of Government regulations
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
Identifies and resolves issues in a timely manner
Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Ability to write business correspondence and procedures.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that data
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
An understanding of project accounting, revenue recognition, government invoicing types, accounts receivables, accounts payable, and business related taxes.
Read and understand accounting and project related reports
