Job Description


  • Manages a large team or multiple smaller teams which would typically consist of both experience professionals and managers.

  • Focus on tactical and operational plans with short to mid-term focus (e.g., 1-2 years) or may manager a project or program of significant size and impact to the company.

  • Problems faced may be difficult to moderately complete. Influences other outside of own job area regarding policies, practices and procedures or may be a recognized master in a technical discipline.

  • Responsible for making moderate to significant improvements of processes, systems or products to enhance performance of job area or demonstrates technical innovation in supporting business objectives.

  • Problems and issues faced are numerous and typically undefined, and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem. Problems are difficult and moderately complex. Problems typically impact multiple departments or specialties. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experience and analysis of issues.


  • Requires broad management knowledge to lead project teams in one department.

  • Typically has mastery level knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with broad understanding of other areas within the job function.

  • Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years related work experience.


  • Monitors and prioritizes workload levels as it relates to the evolving needs of the program.

  • Responsible for meeting production and quality goals, and tracks progress against the forecast.

  • Ensures Teams supporting the program are prioritizing their work in accordance with the programs short and long-term objectives.

  • Actively and continually seeks opportunities to improve the programs performance and process, and communicates that information to upper management.

  • Develops and implements new strategies when inefficiencies are identified.

  • Ensures all IT and security related functions are met and maintained to the highest of standard in support of the program.

  • Briefs upper management on staffing needs in support of the program. Responsible for duties associated with the program to include ensuring designated Teams and their Investigators have all administrative, logistical and technical needs met.

  • Responds to questions from Team Leaders as well as upper management and provides mentoring and guidance as it relates to those supporting the program.

  • Communicates new and ongoing requirements and updates to key leaders and staff.
