This newly created role will report to the Head of Marketing Measurement and partner with teams across functional teams in Marketing Measurement, Marketing Strategic Capabilities and Insights, OC Marketing, OC Product and other Enterprise teams. Responsible for delivering analysis, insights and the decision strategies function for an area with impact across Wholesale and Wealth Investment Management Marketing. Provides leadership to the transformation of data into information and provides information and strategic insight that will assist leaders’ decision-making relative to corporate products, services and process improvements that impact business outcomes. Participates in the formulation and articulation of vision for analytic opportunities and advancements. Evaluates, recommends and implements strategies for developing and utilizing technical resources to predict, improve and measure the success of fundamentals and new initiatives linked to business outcomes. This requires an understanding of internal business strategies and objectives. Identifies and integrates external market factors that impact or drive business outcomes. Defines measurement standards and collaborates with business partners to achieve consistent agreement and application of definitions, measurements and interpretation. Builds analytical capabilities and manages modeling, forecasting, reporting and/or data distribution tools and processes. Manages through other managers and/or senior consultants to accomplish objectives.

The Marketing Measurement team brings accountability to the Marketing organization by empirically estimating the incremental contributions of Marketing to the business and the performance of each campaign and marketing initiatives. Its charter also includes providing guidance to the organization as to the optimal levels of program investments and allocations across businesses, marketing channels, sales channels, audiences and time to achieve forecast sales goals. The team is also charged with developing and maintaining all the Marketing Mix Modeling, Multi-touch Attribution, Test and Control Models, Targeting Models, Opportunity Sizing, Sales Planning and Forecasting as well as Numerical Optimization Apps that provide the backbone of past Marketing performance measurements and future investment optimizations. All while reducing risk and driving operational efficiencies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Lead Marketing Measurement and optimization for Wholesale and Wealth Investment Management

  • Apply sanctioned standard Marketing Measurement campaign measurement practices

  • Guide the OC Marketing team on the levels and strategy for program investment

  • Engage with OC Marketing and Product leaders to understand and conceptualized their needs, providing close-looped solutions

  • Be an advocate of analytical reasoning, bringing clarity, discipline and purpose to the Marketing organization

  • Bring a positive and adaptable mindset to every day’s challenges

  • Be a champion of the team, supporting and nurturing their work and TM growth

  • Maximize value productivity in a world of limited resources, displaying entrepreneurship and creativity

  • Act as a catalyst for innovation and new thinking for the entire Marketing organization

  • Leverage enterprise measurement solutions like ROMI to guide Marketing strategy and investments for Wholesale and Wealth Investment Management, and provide a continuous feedback loop on our measurement toolkit to remain on a permanent state of improvement and innovation

  • Mitigate risk, reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency, quality and compliance of tools and deliverables

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

  • 4+ years of management experience

  • 4+ years of marketing analytics experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in client or partner servicing within the analytic marketing space

  • Experience with marketing mix modeling, regression and optimization

  • Experience in B2B marketing analytics

  • Experience in Wealth Investment Management marketing analytics

  • Experience in media, including digital content marketing analytics

  • Experience in SAS, R, or SQL

  • Experience managing teams of more than five team members
