This Business Systems Consultant 5 role is part of the IT Asset Management (ITAM) team, which is part of the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) team. ITAM is responsible for managing assets – physical, virtual, IP – within the overall Wells Fargo environment, and for ensuring the proper support attributes are documented to enable improved cyber security defense and general ability to support availability. Accurate inventory information is critical for other downstream users developing cyber-security solutions and reporting. Using tools and reports already identified, this Consultant will be responsible for performing validation processes, which have been previously established, to identify applications which have non-compliant PAA-related inventories or PAI inventories, engage the appropriate technology support teams to review and remediate them, and ensure those changes are captured in a system of record (SOR).

  • Reviewing existing weekly reporting of PAA and related hardware inventory

  • Reviewing weekly reporting of IPs and associated hardware/URLs found within the external-facing firewall rules

  • Applying existing logic to identify if the devices found above are accurate and compliant

  • Engaging application and tech managers to review non-compliant scenarios

  • Assigning, tracking, and reporting on discrepancies

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Workflow management experience

  • Ability to take an active role in the education, mentoring and training of less experienced team members
