Bank of America Business Transformation and Process Design Execution Lead in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Engages with business partners to analyze, implement, and update processes by utilizing sound process improvement models and techniques. Manages design or redesign of processes or projects using six sigma methodologies. Integrates best practices with process design to ensure continuous process improvement. Builds action plans and drives execution. Applies business redesign concepts, practices and DFSS tools. May manage teams to achieve process or project objectives. Processes are within a product or service delivery within a single business unit or department and are typically directed toward improving a single business, product, or function. May be Green Belt or Black Belt certified.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manages a portfolio of projects and/or audit issues - Owns the delivery and execution of fraud business and technology roadmaps. Partners with Technology and other Partners to identify opportunities and then define, determine optimal solution, drive execution, and deliver capability

  • Translates the business needs and capabilities to an executable strategic plan.

  • Gain strong knowledge of business challenges; Identifies and champions project solutions for changing business needs. Identify opportunities and execute action plan to support Operational Excellence.

  • May Include the management of vendors (partner optimization, build/buy decisions), model governance, scope, ROI (spend, benefits)

  • Provides executive-level business support, which includes management routines and other ad-hoc requests

  • May be responsible for Business Operations, which may include but not limited to Governance and Control functions, such as Strategy and Model Governance, Business Controls liaison, Vendor Governance, etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-10 years' experience in leading large scale transformational programs or process design.

  • Ability to quickly learn and recognize opportunities to drive change and execute a strategy

  • Executive communication skills with strong facilitation and verbal/ written communication skills and ability to influence others and remove barriers

  • Excellent project management skills and proven ability to invoke and execute change.

  • Ability to communicate at all levels and build strong relationships to influence and quickly resolve conflict.

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must. Strong PowerPoint skills and ability to tailor messages to different audiences; must be able to produce crisp and executive-level presentations and talking points.

  • Ability to quickly adapt, prioritize, and deliver quality deliverables in quick turnaround. Must be flexible and have experience working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical skill sets with attention to detail, coupled with ability to craft executive messages and end to end view

  • Must have strong analytical, organization, and leadership skills

  • Must have strong communication and partnering skills

Desired Skill Sets:

  • Experience in Business Controls, Model management and/or DSG Governance is preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)/Six Sigma certification is preferred

  • Experience in Products (e.g. Card, Deposits, Digital), Fraud, or innovation delivery is a plus

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
