The purpose of the Global Sales Operations organization is to drive increased sales revenue through all VZC direct sales segments, products and geographies, through optimized customer acquisition, expansion and renewal. We measure success in increased sales productivity day-over-day, month-over-month and year over year
Job Function: To design and execute the sales strategy for Enterprise and Strategic Sales that optimizes customer acquisition and expansion. Manage projects that implement and optimize the processes, programs, tools and systems that will drive overall sales revenue from new and existing customers, and increase productivity of sales engagement with Customers.
This role interacts with executives and operates independently to drive short and long-term objectives that enable Enterprise and Strategic Sales strategies. Collaborate intimately with the Director(s) (DIR) and VP level leaders within sales to drive revenue accountability, process improvement, process documentation and change management within the Sales Segments (ENT/STR). Partner closely with IT, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Accounting, Compensation, Client Partners, and other functions on process and program design and implementation. Drive and deliver program success through resource utilization, influencing with and without authority, and aligning to executive input and expectations. Priorities and work output entails both short-term “quick wins” as well as long-term initiatives aligned to the longer-term vision of Enterprise and Strategic sales growth.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
4 years of Sales, Marketing, and/or Leadership Experience
Knowledge: SaaS and Enterprise Sales Processes and Management; Sales Operations and Enablement Tools, Technology and Systems; Enterprise Sales and Sales Management Techniques and Skills; Forecasting and Pipeline Management
Analytical Thinking - Analyzes situations and data and exercises judgement in selecting methods techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining information
Strategic-to-Systematic Thinking - ability to think holistically, recognize patterns and issues and react accordingly. Able to take a concept and think about how to scale systemically. Manages short-term opportunity while enabling long-term goals and accomplishments.
Project and Program Management - Natural (informal) project management skills and experience with proven ability to drive multiple projects or large programs forward simultaneously. Is resourceful, relentless and persistent. Identifies and resolves resource prioritization and allocation issues to ensure appropriate countermeasures while avoiding overtime or missed deadlines and diminished deliverable quality.
Even better if you have:
Bachelors Degree and 2 or more years of Sales Operations experience
Change Leadership - Demonstrated adaptability and the ability to drive change and establish a sense of calm amid change
Adaptability- mental agility, comfort with ambiguity, and the capacity to change old behaviors in light of new evidence.
