Bank of America Deposits Pricing Manager – Strategy and Execution in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Responsible for the strategic development and execution of key deposit pricing initiatives. Primary functions include integrating with deposit partners on initiatives to transform pricing capabilities and analyzing portfolio data to identify additional strategies. Competencies required include strong analytical and organizational skills with focus on tactical implementation.

Job Description:

  • Key member of the Deposit Pricing team that will contribute to the setting of Consumer and Small Business deposit pricing strategy and department goals

  • Serve as line of business expert to deliver knowledge both vertically and horizontally to obtain partnership and engagement required to deliver key initiatives including transformation of deposits pricing engine

  • Provide requirements and business insight to deposit rate partners

  • Manage complex vendor relationships to support department objectives

  • Identify new data sources, partnerships, and vendors to improve pricing efficiency

  • Analyze portfolio data, transaction flows, model output, and account profitability to evaluate Deposits pricing scenarios and to identify economic opportunities related to the Deposits portfolio

  • Work across the Deposits Pricing and Product teams, as well as with GWIM, Finance, Liquidity, Balance Sheet Management, and Analytics, to evaluate and understand the Deposits portfolio performance and to ensure alignment with corporate objectives

  • Analyze large amounts of data, leveraging SAS, SQL, Excel

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of work experience

  • Prior pricing experience

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically to drive product success

  • Ability to form strong partnerships with key stakeholders and work with them on initiatives; hold accountable when needed

  • Detail-oriented, self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and escalates issues or concerns effectively

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to confidently present to senior leaders

  • Strong leadership skills and ability to influence others to drive execution or approval of strategic recommendations

  • Ability to analyze product trends and understand the financials of the business

  • Ability to work with large amounts of data via SQL and/or SAS

  • Strong excel experience is necessary

  • Strong problem solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Business, Finance, or Mathematics Degree

  • Analytical, modeling and/or optimization experience and education

  • Understanding of how the bank works from an enterprise perspective

  • Knowledge of Tableau reporting framework
