_Job Description:_

This newly created role will join a small but growing team of analysts supporting Foundational Data Shared Services Onboarding Engagement and Metadata Standards Program to support onboarding and metadata quality activities for Wells Fargo’s Enterprise Metadata Center.

The Foundational Data Shared Services team delivers a suite of enterprise data management tools focused on metadata, governance, and data quality.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Pre-onboarding engagement to evaluate needs and partner with Enterprise Data Governance for direction

  • Execute standard onboarding of business metadata for partners to the Enterprise Metadata Center

  • Coordinate metamodel changes in alignment with business and technology strategy

  • Oversee organization, quality, and alignment of content per policy and standards

  • Create and maintain enterprise metadata standards, guidelines, and process documentation

  • Assist with facilitation of training sessions for business and technology partners covering enterprise metadata standards, guidelines, and processes

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

  • 2+ years of experience as a Metadata Analyst

  • 1+ years of experience with Collibra Data Governance Center

  • 2+ years of data analysis experience

  • 2+ years of data management experience

  • 2+ years of experience capturing and documenting complex business and functional requirements

  • 2+ years of process definition and documentation experience

  • 1+ year of data warehouse experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • 1+ years of experience as a Metadata Architect

  • 1+ years of experience as a Collibra Data Governance Center Administrator

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Experience facilitating and delivering training or other related facilitation experience such as group meetings or presentations

  • Experience writing and editing internal communications and training-related materials in a corporate environment or financial institution

  • Knowledge and understanding of data governance challenges and approaches: metadata, data quality, and data stewardship

  • Ability to deliver multiple concurrent projects or large scale individual projects

  • 1+ year of SharePoint experience

  • 1+ year of financial industry experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology process management improvements

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
