Bank of America Financial Production Services Lead in Charlotte, North Carolina
This position is within the Profit Operations team responsible for managing the production processes for delivery of customer level profitability data. Profit is the enterprise-wide system of record for internal customer profitability reporting and analysis which produces monthly profitability information at the instrument level. Profit enables business and finance partners with data to measure financial performance and perform financial analysis across multiple dimensions not available in the general ledger. The results are consumed in customer decisioning tools and employee compensation engines
The Profit Operations team supports the overall end-to-end production coordination for the processing calendar, data sourcing, quality control, profit calculations and publishing of the results for business unit consumption. The Team Member will be responsible for driving these processes to meet SLAs and data quality standards. The successful candidate will be groom to be a subject matter expert on continuous process improvement and defect resolution management.
Enterprise Role Overview
Responsible for the more complex design and support management accounting systems. Examples include cost allocations, funds transfer pricing and equity capital allocation systems. Supports achievement of business goals by working on more complex activities or projects with others within the unit and with partners. Leads projects and coordinates resources. Manage partner relationships
BS/BA required (Finance/Accounting/Technology preferred)
Experience in production/testing/application process support; some non-traditional hours
Strong analytical, problem solving and research skills
Strong focus on process orientation and operational excellence
Strong communication skills verbal & written, including: influencing & critical thinking
Ability to build and leverage positive relationships with LOB and Technology partners.
Experience managing projects simultaneously with deliverables/dependencies
Experience in navigating a complex and multi-faceted global organization
Ability to assimilate complex data into a results-based story and effectively present the results
Strong skills in the use of the Microsoft suite of products
Ability to work independently, managing multiple tasks simultaneously, strong prioritization and time management skills
Management accounting experience
Advanced MS Excel, Access, Project
Project Management experience
Basic understanding of SQL
Financial Service background
Experience with SAP Bank Analyzer and BI/BW tools
Experience in a Finance Operations capacity
