  • KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS):*

  • Review and distribute revenue share invoices for a portfolio of moderate to highly complex mutual fund companies

  • Process revenue share payments and analyze variances to invoice

  • Identify, research and resolve payment variances

  • Monitor aged receivables and pursue collection efforts on outstanding invoices

  • Research and resolve revenue share inquiries from internal and external clients

  • Provide revenue share reporting to support line of business

  • Identify and troubleshoot complex operational and financial issues, determine root cause and drive resolution

  • Liaison to external mutual fund partners

  • Evaluate and implement process improvements

  • Assist with GL month-end close as needed

  • Lead and/or assist with special projects as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience, operational accounting experience, or a combination of both

Desired Qualifications:

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics

  • Accounts receivable or accounts payable experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of mutual funds administration: financial reporting, fund accounting, and operations

  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and creative problem solving techniques

  • Customer service focus with the ability to respond to requests in a timely manner

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple small to medium sized projects simultaneously

  • Intermediate Microsoft Access skills

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
