Eaton Corporation Pack Center Material Handler - 1st Shift in Charlotte, North Carolina

Eaton’s Electrical division is currently seeking a Pack Center Material Handler to join our first shift team. This position is based at our Charlotte, NC facility.

This position is responsible for pulling various products for pack center. You will be required to meet production standards that are attached to each job. This is a warehouse position requiring the use of powered equipment such as stand-up narrow aisle reach forklifts, and in some cases end riders/electric pallet jacks.

  • You will pull orders in a timely manner and with accuracy (exhibit a sense of urgency).

  • You will be responsible for overage returns (return unused components to stock as part of daily confirmation process.

  • You will initial bottom of work order for each order picked.

  • You will wrap unstable pallets in plastic before moving, as needed.

  • You will ensure work stations have a continuous flow of work orders.

  • You will ensure all orders have been confirmed at the end of the shift.

  • You will communicate any issues with work orders to lead and/or manager.

  • You will communicate component shortages, get order corrected prior to pulling order.

Qualifications

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Charlotte, NC be considered

  • Minimum of 1 year of warehousing experience

  • Minimum of 6 months of experience operating a sit down forklift

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience in RF technology

  • Ability to operate powered industrial equipment

  • Demonstrates a “can do” attitude and a sense of urgency

  • Focus on safety, quality and cost

  • Lifting up to 25 lbs. several times during the day

  • SAP WMS experience a plus
