Verizon Project Implementation Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina
What you’ll be doing...
The Project Implementation Manager will report to the Southeast Executive Director and work with all SE field engineering directors. Person will be focused on providing standardized program reporting for all major field engineering programs.
Provide accurate and detailed program reporting for all major network programs (New Build, Carrier Add, small cells, 5G, Interconnect etc).
Develop project tracking tools and systems to accurately document milestones completions, project issues, project jeopardies, and overall project completion.
Identify opportunity and program gaps via effective data analytics and automation.
Drive process standardization across southeast engineering via Process mapping, standard reporting, and process optimization.
Develop automation for reporting and other high-level network initiatives.
Lead tool development to support automation.
Partner with NS for FUZE SPM development and site tracker to FUZE SPM migration.
Delivering written/oral executive-level reporting, presentations and communications.
Providing management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key, process-focused objectives.
Create and develop executive presentations for all leadership meetings and events.
Maintain excellent communication with Functional managers and Directors to ensure early identification of issues a timely reporting of status.
Manage a team of 2-3 engineers responsible for various project reporting.
What we’re looking for...
A Strong leader with project management experience blended with several years of practical experience, resulting in proven success in driving change within large, complex organizations. The incumbent will also drive standardization, automation, effective reporting to identify program progress and gaps and to deliver needed network results.
You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in the Telecommunications and Wireless industry.
Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
Even better if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering or Computer Science.
Six or more years of relevant work experience in the field network.
Experience in Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, and Design Thinking concepts, practices and tools, and the capability of articulating the fusion of such practices to drive superior business outcomes. Certification in Six Sigma methodology, including Green Belt, Black Belt or Master Black.
Ability to adapt quickly to changes in business conditions.
Results oriented a strong sense of urgency, proactive and flexible.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing business conditions.
Ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels from team members to executive management.
Strong verbal & written communication skills to interact with other departments and teams to achieve objectives and improve processes.
