Position Description:

This role will provide reporting and analytics support for the Consumer & Small Business - Data Analytics and Reporting group, with emphasis on UW controls, performance and processes. Responsible for development and production of operational data and reporting; day to day analysis, research and resolution of issues; support administration of reporting inventory. Analyst will develop analysis and reporting capabilities, will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. The role may include interaction with multiple fulfillment LOBs, Technology, and Risk partners.

Enterprise Role Overview:

Responsible for performing complex analysis and modeling. Utilizes a variety of systems including, but not limited to Excel, Access, Visual Basic, SAS, and InfoQuest at an intermediary level. Provides analytical support on various strategies to ensure company goals are met. Coordinates the production of performance reports and updates for senior management. May utilize established databases to provide statistical and financial modeling. Analyzes portfolio trends, concerning risk, loss trends, marketing performance, portfolio dynamics, and bureau scoring criteria. Will participate in the rollout of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion and independent judgment. 2-5 years' experience preferred.

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years experience in data and reporting

  • Ability to access and analyze data using Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata

  • Demonstrated ability to develop reports using SSRS

  • Highly proficient in the use of MS SQL Server Management Studio, including the creation of functions, stored procedures, views, tables, etc.

  • Proficiency with MS Office, especially Excel including pivot tables, macros and VB

  • Highly proficient in the use of MS Visual Studio

  • Good verbal and written communication skill

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Desired Skills:

  • Consumer Vehicle Lending and/or Mortgage background

  • Project management experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree
