The Centralized Regulatory Reporting (CRR) team is part of the CFO-Global Financial Control organization. Our purpose is to drive high quality regulatory reports through operationally efficient control processes and system solutions to support the production of various regulatory reports as required by the Federal Reserve, OCC, FDIC and other regulators. CRR is seeking a highly motivated individual for a Senior Financial Analyst position seeking to expand their knowledge and expertise.
This position is responsible for analysis, interpretation, and documentation of the application of U.S. regulatory reporting requirements focused on Reg W reporting and monitoring activities.
Monitor and validate Reg W 23A transactions in the system of record, the Reg W 23A Database on a daily basis
Onboard new Reg W 23A transactions working with Stakeholders, LOB and Reg W Escalation and Review team. Train LOB data providers on database functionality including controls
Prepare and deliver daily and weekly reporting to internal stakeholders, Lines of Business Operating groups, LOB Finance Groups and Federal Reserve Bank
Analysis, validation and reconciliation of quarterly FR Y-8 Report of Insured Depository Institutions’ Section 23A Transactions With Affiliates and Reg W Reporting package (sourced work papers) and related monthly validation of reporting
Project work as required including database enhancements which includes UAT testing
Backup production support and related analysis for Affiliate List Report, produced monthly
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of Finance/accounting experience with a large corporation
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment
Strong partnership skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Excel – exp with look up, pivots, linking, etc)
Experience/knowledge with financial reporting
Regulation W knowledge
