The Global Banking and Markets Financial, Planning and Analysis team provide a broad array of Management Reporting support to Senior Management. This Globally challenging role covers both Segments and places emphasis on expense management analytics and management reporting routines.

The role will focus on overall Expense Management Solutions, which will include collaboration on designing and creating a strategic platforms to provide increased transparency on expenses. This is consistent with our Enterprise and GBAM goals as we move forward and to assist our Business partners and senior management in driving business results. This role will also partner with technology teams on the maintenance and development of various finance reporting tools used throughout GBAM Finance. Responsibility is inclusive of presentations and communication to Executive Management in addition to our monthly & quarterly reporting deliverables.

Key areas of Focus include:.

  • Partner across CFO, LOB teams and Business Finance groups with ad hoc management reporting, analysis and routines including communication of key message

  • Presentations (Executive Commentary) & Data management

  • Support quarter end activities relating to Investor Relations and Earnings Release

  • Incentives - Comp Models, Monthly Close, Fcst, Quarterly metrics

  • Complete oversight for GM & GB Centralized accrual and maintenance of model.

  • GBAM Vendor Repository build out and relationship management with Sourcing & ARIBA teams

  • Key Performance Metrics Development

  • Monthly Estimates, Plan, Fcst Quarterly Reviews

  • Partner with peers and management to implement process & reporting improvements

  • Willingness and ability to lead annual and ad-hoc projects across business partners

Required Skills/Experiences

  • BS/BA Finance/Accounting

  • Must have 5+ years of related industry experience and strong financial reporting background (prior financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, financial mgmt. reporting exp)

  • Strong analytical skills and experience in management reporting

  • MS Office - strong excel skills

  • Effective independent, analytical and oral communication and writing skills a must

  • Flexible (ie, available to work overtime as required.)

  • Proactive with intellectual curiosity and willingness to effectively challenge the status quo
