Bank of America Sr Incentive Administration Consultant in Charlotte, North Carolina

Job Description:

Senior level position on the Consumer Incentive Center of Excellence team responsible for the flawless administration of incentive compensation plans for a specific Front Line Unit(s). Responsible for decisioning complex incentive related requests in accordance with plan guidelines, performing complex financial calculations and analysis for ad hoc initiatives, managing small initiatives, and executing operational controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research, decision, and respond to complex incentive related requests based on established service level agreements and productivity targets

  • Perform complex financial calculations and analysis outside of compensation platform for ad hoc initiatives

  • Ensure all actions and decisions are consistent with the department’s objectives and risk appetite

  • Become a subject matter expert on specific incentive plans

  • Review and analyze trends in incentive related requests, determine root cause and provide suggestions on how to automate upstream problem or recontract work

  • Execute defined processes and controls to ensure consistency in the dispositioning of incentive related requests and incentive plan calculations each incentive period

  • Accept ownership of escalations/issues and respond to clients with resolutions, coaching on plan design and guidelines

  • Assist with miscellaneous initiatives and projects within the department

  • Create training materials and perform periodic training with the Front Line Unit and Incentive Center of Excellence team members

  • Maintain critical process and procedure documentation

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, advanced skills in Excel (Vlookups, Pivot tables, advanced formula creation)

  • Acute attention to detail

  • Knowledge of the Front Line Unit candidate is being hired for

  • Strong business acumen

  • Experience using SQL queries

  • Ability to perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for related system change

  • Ability to represent admin point of view in discussions with business partners
