Bank of America Sr Operations Manager in Charlotte, North Carolina
The role will be responsible for managing multiple Document Retention and Administration teams and functions within Wholesale Credit. This individual will lead a recently consolidated team through a transformation period, focusing on identification and implementation of best practices, support of new technologies for the team(s) and other transformation work, while maintaining SLA’s and key metrics that drive the success of the daily processes and functions. The documents received and indexed by the various teams have a high degree of monetary exposure and sensitivity due to the collateral documents being imaged, indexed, and stored. The manager must oversee the daily activities and ensure adherence to procedures and regulatory requirements (e.g. transaction research). Given the transformation work underway, the manager will work with subject matter experts on the teams to develop and implements new processes/procedures to create consistency among the teams, improve operating efficiency where possible and to ensure timeliness and accuracy of the work. In addition to the transformation and daily process work, the manager will be responsible for the performance of the entire team, including associate development, performance reviews, compensation decisions, hiring, talent planning and the like. The manager will also need to monitor and ensure expense management, maintenance and refining of existing reporting and forecasting.This role requires general operations management and will be heavily involved in a variety of initiatives and projects. Leads and directs the work of others and ensures staffing levels and capacity are appropriate to meet production requirements. Manages client, business and/or supplier relationships. Six Sigma/Lean experience preferred. Incumbents normally have 4-6 years of operational management experience. May manage 3-4 team managers depending on the experience level of the selected candidate. May cover multiple shifts and sites. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.Required Skills:

4-6 years relevant experience in operations management preferred
Working knowledge of fulfillment lending processes in a banking environment
Strong relationship management skills to navigate the complexities of gaining buy-in, building consensus, and resolving conflicts
Ability to establish robust operational management routines and instill discipline and rigor
Ability to analyze data for trends or outliers and adjust policies, procedures, or leadership guidance accordingly
Clearly show the ability to quickly find and validate root causes of problems, optimize the efficiency of processes, and be able to clearly control processes
