The Vice President, Strategic Business Development and Strategy Consultant is a key member of the Digital Monetization team. A successful candidate will be responsible for advancing the development of internal and external partnerships that leverage our digital capabilities, enhance our rewards program, expand our marketing and advertising solutions, and generate alternate revenue streams for the bank.

The ideal candidate will be a forward thinking leader with a proven track record of successfully bringing strategic partnerships to market across a broad ecosystem of partner categories, including dining, travel, retail, grocery, entertainment, transportation, fuel, and subscription services. The role requires an individual that can quickly identify opportunities, build business and revenue models, present a compelling and integrated strategy to the company’s executives and prospective partners, and bring leaders together across all functions of the business to execute the vision of the partnership – from start to finish.

Job Requirements:

  • 7+ years proven leadership in a management role working in sales, marketing and e-commerce, specifically across business and strategic partnership development.

  • Partner with institutional Fortune 1000 clients, loyalty programs, retailers, and brands to identify integration opportunities that facilitate the growth of Bank of America’s digital business.

  • Work closely with UX and other cross functional partners to document use cases, feature stories, wireframes, and pitch decks.

  • Deep familiarity with term sheet and contract development, business and financial modeling, customer insights and analytics, and technical requirements necessary to create deep data integrations.

  • Coordinate and leadcross-line-of-businesspartner alignment to drive initiative strategy, planning, stakeholder approvals and execution pathing.

  • Establish and maintain clear execution routines for initiative continuity and regular management briefing/status reporting.

  • Collaborate with executive management to shape Bank of America’s Digital Monetization roadmap.

Preferred Skills:

  • 3 years of experience with Digital Commerce environments with a proven track record of growing these channels, and an excellent understanding of various business models and how technology enables marketing and sales.

  • 3 years working in advertising sales or business development.

  • Leadership within a Fortune 500 loyalty program.

  • Proven ability to bring new products and services to market.

  • Exceptional experience with Microsoft Power Point and Office suite.

  • Excellent communication [verbal, written, presentation] and networking skills; able to drive consensus.

  • Strong interest and knowledge of emerging technology trends and applications.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, customer-driven environment.
