The System, Tools, and Utilities (STU) team is seeking a Systems Support Analyst to join the DBSmart Support Team. DBSmart Support Analysts serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance with DBSmart-related issues and monitoring the performance of mission critical application services. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Responding to technical support requests in the DBSmart Help Desk and shared mailbox.

  • Performing remote troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis investigations.

  • Updating documentation and troubleshooting procedures in the DBSmart knowledge base.

  • Creating SQL queries to generate ad-hoc reports for business partners.

  • Assisting with code migrations and executing post-patching verification procedures.

  • Using diagnostic and other tools to maintain, troubleshoot and restore service to mission critical application services.

  • Analyzing application/database performance trends and recommending process improvements.

  • Ensuring system configurations are in compliance with Wells Fargo security and compliance standards.

  • Overseeing the testing and timely deployment of software security patches to the STU application servers.

  • Participating in the STU on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of systems support analysis experience

  • 3+ years of SQL experience

  • 3+ years of Linux experience

  • 3+ years of UNIX experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
