Bank of America Third Party Control Validation - Testing Specialist in Charlotte, North Carolina
Role is predominately focused on: Testing Vendor/Third Party Controls
The Third Party Validation Team (TPCV) team is part of the Global Procurement Administration organization. The primary focus of our team is independent assessment of a Third Party / Vendor’s controls as dictated by the Third-Party Policy and Program. Our business partners include enterprise control functions and multiple Front Line Units (FLUs) across the enterprise. Key priorities for our team are independent assessments and quality control activities to determine whether a Vendor/ Third Party’s controls meet Bank requirements.
Utilizes analytical skills and/or technical expertise to execute assigned audit testing responsibilities.
Perform assessments of audit activities to evaluate the quality of documentation supporting execution of audit work.
Independently execute assigned assessments. Responsible for multiple projects simultaneously.
Utilize sound, reasoning and analytical skills to execute assigned responsibilities.
Effective written communication of testing results and observations
Maintains a thorough understanding of the Vendor/Third Party Management program requirements
3+ years audit or QA/QC testing experience with emphasis on regulatory compliance and/or control validation
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, strong prioritization and time management skills
Requires strong reasoning and analytical skills with an attention to detail
Ability to clearly and persuasively communicate in written and verbal formats
Proficient computer/software skills - Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.
Vendor Management experience
Familiarity with Ariba and/or Archer applications
Experience developing and documenting test plans
Prior regulatory compliance work in a Financial Institution
