Job Description

What You’ll Get to Do:

Analyzes and studies complex system requirements. Designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation. Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and, when appropriate, Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Estimates software development costs and schedule. Reviews existing programs and assists in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques. Supervises software configuration management.

  • The Oracle EBS Technical Developer will be responsible for the technical design, and development of Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms and Workflows (RICE-FW) within Oracle

  • Play a senior role in the analysis, design and development efforts in the Oracle EBS space with a primarily focusing on solutions for Prospect to Order (P2O), Budget to Report (B2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Acquire to Retire (A2R), and Order to Cash (O2C) processes.

  • Collaborate with business and other team members (Developers, Functional Analysts, and Testers) to produce scalable, efficient and supportable solutions utilizing Oracle and related technologies

  • Support fellow team members through development and architecture standard improvement/augmentation according to industry best practices

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Responsible for the creation, modification, and testing of code

  • Responsible for peer review of code

  • Responsible for analyzing and identifying system performance issues, recoding bugs, testing fixes and implementing the solution identified

  • Support system and user acceptance testing activities, including issue resolution so that tasks are completed in a timely manner

  • Develop or extend reports via Oracle Reports Builder or BI Publisher templates

  • Develop/customize Oracle application workflows

  • Develop custom forms via Oracle Forms Builder/Oracle Application Framework (OFB/OAF)

  • Provides end-user support for system customizations

  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members.

  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.

  • Work independently and manage multiple task assignments

You’ll Bring these Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or other technically relevant degree from an accredited university

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

  • Seven Years of IT experience, with at least 5 years’ large-scale Oracle ERP sustainment experience

  • Experience with Oracle Database version 11g and 12c

  • Experience with UNIX scripting, UNIX/Linux

  • Experience with Oracle Applications development utilizing PL/SQL

  • Knowledge of Demonstrated technical knowledge of Prospect to Order (P2O), Budget to Report (B2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Acquire to Retire (A2R), and Order to Cash (O2C)

  • Experience in the creation of technical design documentation

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously among changing priorities

  • 5-7 years of experience in Oracle tools such as PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, SQL Plus, SQL loader, Workflow, XML-Publisher and AOL

  • Oracle EBS R12 experience is required

  • Strong skills in SQL tuning and high-volume data processing

  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and analytical skills

  • Experience with integration to Oracle E-Business Suite and /or legacy systems

  • Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Prior Oracle OAF & RICE-FW experience in the DoD/Federal Government environment

  • Experience developing XML-based interfaces utilizing Oracle XML gateway is a plus.

  • OA Framework development is a plus

  • Experience in delivering systems for Public Sector, Federal Civilian Government, and/or Department of Defense (DoD) customers

  • Experience supporting working capital/revolving funds

  • Team player with the ability to adjust to a dynamic working environment that supports a government agency

  • Strong written, verbal and listening skills

  • Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.

  • Experience with Oracle SOA.
