Marsh & McLennan Director Risk Management Services in Chesterfield, Missouri

Provides overall leadership and management of loss control and claims services. The position also involves direct client consulting and interface both scheduled through an assignment of clients and as needed to support service expectations. Serves as the primary spokesperson and liaison for direct communication with clients, prospects, internal staff, senior management and external stakeholders. Facilitate a team approach and working environment that incorporates a shared responsibility for accomplishing the strategic goals of J. W. Terrill as a part of Marsh McLennan Agency. Represents J. W. Terrill at Marsh & McLennan Agency (MMA) Region and Nationwide meetings, conferences and various interagency programs and initiatives. Leadership and Management: Provides overall management of personnel related activities of department that includes recruiting and interviewing candidates, managing day-to-day human resources and employee relations issues, evaluating and recommending job development and career path opportunities for staff and conduct performance reviews and recommend salary changes. Serves as a mentor to staff for continued growth and development. Manage departmental workflow, policies and procedures in accordance with prescribed service guidelines with priority established for Partner Clients. Coordinate communication between management and department including reports on performance and other departmental functions as may be required. Services and consults directly on assigned client book Supports and provides guidance to claims and loss control specialists for all consulting activities. Actively participate in the development and delivery of the company strategic plan specific to the department and in concert with Terrill and Marsh McLennan Agency corporate initiatives.
