POSITION SUMMARY

The shares services team is responsible for supporting the conversion and migration to Aetnas Next Generation Clinical Platform (MedCompass) and Data Governance Process. This positions key responsibilities include, but are not limited to working with cross-functional members to define and deploy business requirements to support migrations to the platform, understanding and supporting cross-program data and data implications to the platform, migrating from batch to real time data integrations and defining and managing a data governance process. This individual will be expected to gain the necessary knowledge of how data is ingested and used within the MedCompass application to support a cross-program understanding on data impacts to business rules, configuration, correspondence and reporting.

Fundamental Components:

Participates in collaborative solution sessions with business, technical and operations to understand and define high-level requirements. Applies specific functional, system and business expertise to perform assigned tasks and develop specific project deliverables Develops features and user stories user stories with acceptance criteria that help ensure product quality meets customer expectations. Collaborate with external vendors as needed on requirements definition and feature development. Obtains and summarizes effort estimates of decomposed requirements on an on-going basis Contributes to the design and mapping of data conversion strategies. Develops business workflow diagrams. Develops Product Overviews, FAQs, Tool Glossaries, system training material, and system user documentation to support implementation activities. Contributes to the review of Test Planning strategies. Provide support in the development of new data models and data visualization. Excellent conceptual, analytical and strategic thinking skills Demonstrated ability to effectively work on teams within a highly collaborative environment. Demonstrated facilitation skills and the ability to maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:

  • Solid experience with with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or other software development methodologies.

  • Detail oriented, proven project management skills, ability to manage risk and deliverable within agreed upon timelines while handling multiple assignments and shifting priorities.

  • Experience working on large scale innovative projects that use your creative and analytic skills to translate business needs into technical outcomes, and technical issues into business impact.

  • Good business acumen.

  • Proficient skill level with MS Office Programs for reporting purposes.

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
