Hilton Director of Performance and Analytics - The Drake in Chicago, Illinois














The Drake is now hiring for an experienced Director  of Performance Analytics to join its team!



What will I be doing?

Manage multiple (4-5 hotels) Labor Management System (LMS) sites coordinating key tasks and deliverables including strategic and tactical direction and analytical support. Work directly with property leadership and Center for Operational Excellence (COE) team to innovate and deliver best-in-class LMS and Operational Effectiveness (OE).  Analyze and monitor labor effectiveness for all jobs and optimize for optimal service at minimum cost.


 

·         Ensure timely and accurate completion of Responsibility Matrix tasks

·         Conduct routine and ad-hoc analysis of all available labor metrics in accordance with COE guidance

·         Coordinate primary labor management activities for multiple properties 

·         Provide adequate balance and attention to each business unit

·         Devise, communicate and execute strategies and directions for Hotels, evaluating efforts to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the property’s labor management

·         Implement plans for identified labor standardization opportunities in concert with operations managers

·         Establish and monitor procedures and processes in relation to Labor Management

·         Interact with Hotel operations with respect to the performance of departmental labor objectives and assist with the interpretation of financial data

·         Identify negative trends and create solutions with property leadership

·         Recommend corrective action and direct existing staff in implementing action plans

·         Assess actual performance against standards to determine whether the department is on target to reach its goals and urge corrective actions as necessary

·         Analyze Labor Management programs and measure against corporate benchmarks as well as industry standards

·         Coordinate benchmarking labor data with P&L data

·         Develop execution plan to implement long term goals for the Property that become the basis for short term goals and annual operational planning

·         Develop the appropriate objectives for each department’s labor and direct the methodologies by which those objectives are going to be accomplished.  

·         Ensure objectives synchronized with Budget and Forecast processes

·         Access HLBFS, Essbase and SALT for hotels in Group to collect and analyze pertinent data

·         Work within established departmental budget

·         Review and make appropriate adjustments in activities and expenses
