Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility.
Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters.
Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility.
Manages large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
8 years of external management consulting experience providing downstream solutions to clients in the oil and gas industry and/or industry experience within the downstream segment ideally across more than one business function: refining, supply, trading, fuels marketing, retail, and or lubricants Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university Ability to travel 100% Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading part or all of large-scale initiatives within an upstream or downstream company; demonstrated business outcomes Demonstrated senior industry relationships with North American refinery operators Experience with business process re-engineering, design thinking, organization design and / or downstream specific technology uses Project leadership experience, including business case development and stewarding the implementation Strong interest in the role of digital technologies in reshaping industry activities Deep knowledge of oil and gas value chain including drilling, production, facilities for front middle and back office, with experience in petro technology, geological, and land functions Advanced degree(s) Excellent foundational written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
