Job Description:

The Trade PSA will rapidly learn to identify the most common needs of our clients from a global trade payables and trade receivables perspective along with an array of corresponding Trade & Supply Chain Finance solutions through the following projects and responsibilities:

Financial Results

  • Prepare working capital metric peer comparison, client spend file analysis & presentations to help move deals from Prospective to Mandate

  • Work with Product Managers for any updates on funding rates, country information, etc that will affect analysis, presentations and RFPs.

  • Complete Trade & Supply Chain Finance pricing and profitability return modeling to assist in making recommendations on efficient pricing.

  • Customize complex client pitches, incorporating best practices recommendations; prepare best and final proposals & RFP responses and leverage Trade industry SME.

  • Support clients and client teams in competitive bidding for new export LC transactions through our Exporter Advocate program.

Risk Ownership

  • Support Trade PSS and client team in building a Deal Review business case highlighting client’s financial profile, risk rating, business, industry, performance, etc.

  • Assist in weighing deal risk / returns

Digital Transformation and Client Experience

  • Support Trade PSS/GTS Sales in resolving escalated acceptable language (i.e. LCs) or related servicing issues.

  • Own Network Trade mailbox activity and escalate to TPSS for complex items.

Organizational Focus

  • Gain exposure on running a business within the firm through strategic, senior level projects by developing key metrics dashboards and scorecards, revenue reporting, trade management reporting and trade business partner reporting/presentations.

  • Learn and help develop the evolving business strategy while gaining senior management visibility through special projects.

  • Assist with hand-off of newly mandated business to Implementation team.

Out of Scope / Evolving

  • Client on boarding / client documentation updates / KYC

  • Deal engagement below PSS stated thresholds


  • Minimum of 6 months of Credit and 6 months of GTS Sales (Analyst) experience working for either bank, financial institution, or FinTech, with demonstrated record of aggressive learning adoption.

  • Demonstrated technical skills, and a strong desire to challenge the status quo, and embrace new technology, outside providers/channel partners to accelerate growth.

  • Ability to exemplify the way forward by stretching beyond role and taking ownership throughout

  • Client-facing presence, and excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Solid partnering skills with sales, credit, and platform teams; proficient PC skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint

  • Ability to internally influence and drive urgency/actions internally across functions

  • Strong work ethic, and the ability/willingness to take on broader responsibilities longer-term


  • Credit fundamentals

  • Proficiency in data tools: GTS-BI, Navigator, SalesForce, Datarobot, GTSOne.
