The scope of this job is: to provide quantitative support to the Risk & Return Group. This includes:
Support empirical research on financial market price behavior, asset allocation and risk management
Develop and support investment data analytics
Write computer programs to solve problems in investments
Strong quantitative and analytical skills
Significant completed coursework in finance, statistics, computer science, Applied math, economics/econometrics, operations research, and/or physics
Experience programming in Python , Matlab, Excel/VBA, SQL
Enjoys writing code and willingly takes on quantitative tasks
Analytical mind, detail oriented.
Computer proficiency as listed below
Relevant course work
Proficiency in Python, Microsoft Excel required
Rising senior or first year graduate study
Finance & Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering/OR, Computer Science, Physics or similar
The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation, which includes a drug screen.
