IT Desktop Support
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Provides technical support and problem resolution for activities associated with the implementation and installation of computers, network equipment, servers and associated peripherals within established enterprise guidelines. May be expected to lead smaller scale projects and initiatives. Applies and documents procedures for problem determination/resolution and/or installation support. Works effectively with customers, management, and peers either in person or remotely. Builds and maintains positive working relationships and actively participates with teammates, management, customers, and key support areas. Understands and adheres to policies and guidelines related to travel expense, overtime and Asset Management. Provides guidance to customers on equipment standards and expenditures. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Specific & Technical Skills & Competencies:
Technical Knowledge: Demonstrates working knowledge of desktop/laptop configurations and operating systems; Telephony/VOIP, AV and collaboration technologies; server functionality and configurations; network topology and operating systems. Self Management: Able to manage/work within a team environment. Leadership: Able to display professional maturity and positively represent IT. Planning & Project Management: Able to manage projects while maintaining day-to-day support activities. Able to adjust priorities in a dynamic fashion to account for changes in business needs. Problem Solving & Decision Making: Able to isolate and resolve hardware, software, facility and network infrastructure problems on workstations, servers, voice and network devices within established guidelines. Business Knowledge & Partnership: Able to accurately assess and understand customer needs and works with sense of urgency to satisfy those needs within negotiated time frames. Able to interface effectively with customers and IT support partners in customer service/support situations.
Plans and performs activities relating to network, server, workstation, voice and facility installation and problem resolution. Travel and overtime may be required This job does not manage others This job works under Moderate Supervision: Incumbent performs standard and routine assignments independently to conclusion; unusual problems which may require exceptions to procedures or processes are referred to the supervisor.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge:
Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Office products preferred. Knowledge of MAC/iOS systems preferred.

1 year of customer facing end user Technology support experience required. Effective oral and written communication skills required. Active Driver's License required.
