Bank of America Leasing Credit Analyst in Chicago, Illinois

Job Description:

Essential Functions:

This position is an integral member of the Credit Support group and assists the Credit Underwriting and Portfolio Management teams in credit management. Responsibilities includes the timely delivery of technically accurate financial statement spreads utilizing Moody’s Risk Analyst (MRA) for new business transactions as well as for existing business and the accurate updating of electronic credit files and other various systems. As associate masters these initial tasks, there will be opportunities for added responsibilities such as evaluating covenant compliance and preparation of risk rating scorecards.


  • Undergraduate Business Degree

Prior Work Experience:

  • One year of experience within the finance/banking industry a plus

Required Skills:

  • A foundational knowledge of financial statement analysis and an understanding of GAAP, cash flow analysis, and trend analysis are beneficial

  • Proven analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong computer skills

  • Ability to accomplish objectives in a specified timeframe

  • Exhibit professional maturity and interpersonal skills

  • Works effectively, both as a team member and independently

  • Ability to multitask

  • Travel <10%
