Position Summary/MissionManages all activities of Field Case Managers within an assigned geographic area. Responsible for ensuring quality consistency and cost effectiveness of delivered services.Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements include but are not limited to the following:

Ensures deliver of quality services consistent with customer requirements and company objectives by working to optimize quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of services provided by Field Case Managers (FCM); assures production and quality of FCM s performance in accordance to established guidelines. Recruits, develops, and motivates staff; provides necessary resources for Field Case Managers to provide quality, cost effective, proactive case management; plans for the growth and development of FCM staff through professional staff development and promoting advanced certifications.Meets regularly with staff to provide meaningful direction on management of case files; provides expert coaching and serves as consultative resource to staff. Manages referral assignments and caseloads to maximize the FCM s productivity and ability to provide a quality product to the customer. Identifies and recommends opportunities for cost savings and improving the quality of services provided.Builds and maintains positive working relationships with all internal and external customers; provides timely responses to all customer inquiries. Maintains awareness of market opportunities and communicates with sales staff as appropriate.Initiates and communicates a variety of personnel actions including employment, termination, performance reviews, salary reviews, and disciplinary actions. Performs other related duties as required.Exhibits the following Employee BehaviorsPerformance MeasuresBackground/Experience Registered Nurse (RN) with active state license in good standing in the state where job duties are performed.Additional national professional certification (CRC, CDMS, CRRN, COHN, or CCM) preferred, but not required.Minimum of three years' recent and related supervisory or project lead experience required.Knowledge of workers compensation and disability industry.Effective communication skills, both verbal and writtenEffective time management and organizational skills.Proficiency with standard corporate software applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, as well as some special proprietary applications.Education and Certification RequirementsBachelor's degree in a closely-related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Masters degree preferred.
