WHAT THIS ROLE IS

We are seeking an experienced occupancy leader and workplace strategist to join our growing national practice. This role will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of workplace consulting, coaching team members, and supporting business development, with a specific focus on occupancy strategy.

Leading projects for clients that entail:

Assessing and developing occupancy management processes in alignment with business and organizational goals

Interpreting space, headcount and other related data to inform occupancy and real estate decisions as well as contribute to industry and academic research.

Developing documentation illustrating assessment findings, comparing tactical solutions, defining recommended process improvements and associated risks/benefits

Providing advisory services informed by latest trends in occupancy management

Developing and implementing a strategic approach to occupancy data management and benchmarking

Demonstrating outstanding written and oral communication skills

Coaching, teaching and guiding other team members

Growing our occupancy strategy service offering by:

Pursuing and participating in business development activities

Developing written proposals and workplans

Cultivating new and managing existing client relationships

Reviewing all project deliverables to ensure consistency in quality

Engaging external partners in the development of technology solutions

Demonstrating subject matter expertise and developing strategic recommendations

Collaborating with other leaders within the organization

Traveling to client sites across the U.S. (up to 50% at peak periods)

You are experienced in the ins and outs of occupancy planning and have a solid understanding of the technologies that enable this function and the processes that drive it. In addition, having the following qualifications is required:

In-depth knowledge of the field of workplace strategy, including experience in occupancy planning

Proficient knowledge of CAFM, IWMS and sensor technologies

8+ years of credible, related work experience in the field of real estate, architecture, design, construction or consulting

Undergraduate degree (graduate degree preferred)

High proficiency in MS Office Suite of Products

Strong client-service oriented work ethic driven by a desire to act

Stellar time management skills resulting in the ability to understand of priorities and deadlines

Excellent quantitative/analytical skills and attention to detail
