CBRE Senior Marketing Specialist in Chicago, Illinois

Be part of a high-performing product marketing and communications team for the Office & Advisory Services business. Implement and help develop elements of the marketing plan. Must be hands-on and willing to juggle multiple assignments including but not limited to: marketing campaigns, internal education programs, social-digital initiatives, materials development, client engagement initiatives and research activation & distribution for the lines of business and key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing, launching and measuring marketing initiatives and projects for the Office & Advisory Services product lines and brand.

Activate, expand and distribute business value propositions, capabilities, differentiators and core messaging across various marketing channels (e.g. digital, social, thought leadership, media, internal, websites, events, etc.).

Serve as a marketing business partner and tactical resource for the Office & Advisory Services marketing leadership.

Assist in developing and implementing internal education initiatives and external marketing plans for the product lines, marketing leaders and business leaders.

Demonstrate understanding of the CBRE’s Office business, ability to think clearly and deepen knowledge of the company’s position in the market place and how marketing can strategically partner with the business to add value.

Responsible for helping to drive brand and product awareness and differentiation in the marketplace.

Responsible for supporting new product launches and research/thought leadership distribution plans.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

A creative and clear thinker that understands marketing channels, embraces new technologies and is driven to use marketing as a growth driver for the business.

Work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with regular deadlines and multiple stakeholders.

Ability to understand the strategic priorities of the business and various business lines and adapt / develop marketing tools accordingly.

Strong digital marketing skills and understanding of digital tools. To include: platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, paid sponsorships, content marketing, writing website content & management.

Must be able to manage multiple projects efficiently. While given a variety of high-value, determine a priority and manage deliverables and project tracking and reporting.

Strong business writing skills and the ability to develop and integrate content across multiple channels: PowerPoint presentations, web content, social-digital assets, info-graphics, collateral, etc.

Strong working knowledge of InDesign, PowerPoint, Word and Excel

Ability to be a team player and good communicator in a team environment.

Excellent written and communication skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university

Minimum of five years of related experience and/or training

Commercial real estate knowledge preferred

Preferred locations: Chicago, Miami, Los Angeles, Washington DC. – or a Top 20 MSA.
